Staying Dry and Looking Good: Pearl Izumi Divide Jersey [Review]

2013-08-12 30

This summer, the hot rides I’ve endured have been reasonably cool and dry compared to my usual experience. Normally, sweat engulfs my back (in the spot where my Camelback sits), forehead, and other unmentionable areas. Not anymore, thanks to my Pearl Izumi Divide Jersey.

In my opinion, this jersey was created with the intention to ride during hot days because, when you love to ride, the heat won’t stop you. Direct vent panels work down the side and end near the middle of the back allowing air to flow into and through the entire jersey. On really hot days, even when the jersey gets wet from sweat, I find that it dries in a short amount of time thanks to the Transfer In-R-Cool fabric. The 10-inch front zipper also helps with breathability. Not only does this jersey keep me cool and dry on my rides, the relaxed fit keeps me looking good too.
